Jeff Blumenkrantz

Nominated for a Tony® award for his work as a composer on Urban Cowboy, Blumenkrantz is one of the most important songwriters working in musical theatre and is the 2012 winner of the Fred Ebb Award for Musical Theatre songwriting. As an actor, his Broadway appearances include Bright Star, A Class Act, Into the Woods, How To Succeed…, and Damn Yankees. His multi-year star turn in Murder for Two, cracked-up audiences from New York to Los Angeles! To celebrate his years at Stagedoor, Blumenkrantz wrote “Pure Acceptance” and asked fellow Stagedoor alum, actress Helen Slater, to perform it for his famed podcast.
