Starring as Anatoly Sergievsky in the first Broadway revival of Chess, Nicholas Christopher has become one of Broadway’s most commanding and versatile leading men. He delivered a breakout turn in the 2023 revival of Sweeney Todd – first as Adolfo Pirelli, then stepping into the title role for a celebrated run – and earned further acclaim starring as Jelly Roll Morton in Jelly’s Last Jam at New York City Center. A longtime force in Hamilton, Christopher has played both Aaron Burr and George Washington, with additional standout performances in Miss Saigon, In the Heights, Rent, and Motown. His distinctive voice and magnetic presence continue to define his rise.
